We are a network of Ophthalmologists, other medical doctors and allied professionals with the goal of providing training in Research and Grantsmanship to our members while generating ophthalmic data to stakeholders for practice and policy at state, regional and national levels.
OUR CORE OBJECTIVES
TRAINING
- To Build the capacity, career advancement opportunities and scholarly output of members in (and through) Quality Ophthalmic Research
- To build the capacity of members in Grantsmanship
RESEARCH & GRANTSMANSHIP
- To conduct quality collaborative ophthalmic research on various thematic areas, on state, regional and national levels
- To provide eye-related data for practice and for policy making by stakeholders at state, regional and national levels
- To provide an evidence-based platform to attract Multiple Research Grants (on state, regional and or national levels) to provide funding and or logistical support for ophthalmic research projects or research paper presentations at local, continental or international conferences.
